Ziwa Rhino Lodge

Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home to Uganda's sole white rhinoceros. The Nakasongola district is home to not just rhinos, but also a diverse range of bird species and other wildlife. The wildlife ranch has become a popular destination for tourists seeking adventure. We provide rhino trekking, birding trips, nature hikes, nighttime nature walks, and a shoebill trek with a canoe ride.

The ranch has a bar and restaurant where we serve refreshing drinks and tasty homemade dishes. If you want to stay overnight, you can choose from our camping or one of our guest homes.

Ziwa Rhino & Wildlife Ranch provides serenity and tranquillity in lovely surroundings where you may be one with nature. Whether you're photographing rhinos or any of the rare wild birds that live here, we're confident you'll find your connection to nature. There is also lots of nocturnal wildlife activity if you stay in one of our guest rooms or campsites. Our infrared night cameras routinely capture porcupines, aardvarks, and other creatures going about their business.
