Returning Home to Lebanon in 'Shadows of Beirut' Official UK Trailer

BUFF Studios has revealed an official UK trailer for the indie film titled Shadows of Beirut, made by artist / filmmaker Tina Gharavi as her latest creation. This is debuting first in the UK in cinemas starting in September, though there's no official US release set yet. After 25 years away, a young woman returns to Beirut to visit her dying father, a man she has not seen since childhood. Forced to confront a past she has spent decades avoiding, she finds herself navigating a complicated landscape of grief, resentment and many unanswered questions. Between the struggle to forgive him and even building up the courage to face him at all, she discovers the heart of her homeland through the people she meets.
