Special D23 Trailer for 'Avengers: Doomsday' - Still Entirely Unexciting
"All of you have lived stolen lives... but now you must give them back." Marvel and Disney have revealed a new hype trailer for the Avengers: Doomsday movie, hitting theaters December 2026 at the end of this year. (Same day as Dune: Part Three). The trailer comes from Disney's big D23 event, with a few new shots not seen in the full official trailer from SDCC. This crossover epic movie will bring EVERY superhero from two decades of Marvel movies together to battle the villain Doctor Doom - played by Robert Downey Jr. who has coaxed back again. The huge cast includes Chris Evans, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach & more surprises. This D23 preview has a new shot of McKellen back as X-Men villain Magneto, along with Doctor Doom raising the Sentinels. The rest is a rehash of the first full trailer. And there's still nothing exciting about it. Just close-up shots of people + some CGI backgrounds. Is this the only way they're going to market this movie?? Give me more story beats & plot points instead of the faces of every superhero. // Continue Reading ›
