Full Trailer for Clever Coming-of-Age Film 'Olmo' Starring Aivan Uttapa

"You're not a little kid anymore, Olmo!" Greenwich Entertainment has unveiled an official US trailer for an indie film titled Olmo, made by acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Fernando Eimbcke. This premiered at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival last year to mostly good reviews, and after playing at festivals over the last year, it's finally ready for release. Hitting art house theaters starting in August in the US this summer worth a watch. Olmo is a charming coming-of-age film about a boy and his boots and a girl. The best discovery is the young actor Aivan Uttapa starring as Olmo he's unforgettable! When Olmo gets invited to a party by his beautiful neighbor, he will do whatever he can to meet up with her embarking on a night of laughs and chaos. It's a nicely-made family story about a boy living in New Mexico. Also starring Gustavo Sánchez Parra, Andrea Suárez Paz, Diego Olmedo, Rosa Armendariz, and Melanie Frometa. The director Fernando Eimbcke also has another film from this year titled Flies that is also quite good. He is a genuine talent and any of his films are worth watching. Full Spanish Trailer for 'La Bola Negra' Wonderful Triptych from Spain

"The dream goes through time..." Movistar has debuted the full official Spanish trailer for La Bola Negra, one of the biggest surprise hits from the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Everyone has been raving about it since May! The title La Bola Negra means The Black Ball in English, a reference to an actual event and story that the film is inspired by (and tells within the story in the film as well). The plot is set in 1932, 1937, and 2017, exploring the inter-connected lives of three gay men throughout Spanish history. It also explores what it means to be gay throughout different eras, focusing on "three existences" that are connected with themes of sexuality, desire, pain, and inheritance. Starring Guitarricadelafuente as Sebastián, Carlos González as Alberto, Miguel Bernardeau as Rafael, Milo Quifes, Lola Dueñas, plus appearances by Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close (who are both fabulous in the film). This powerful queer drama is deeply connected to the Spanish Civil War and the pain the nation still feels dealing with the horrible things that happened during that time. La Bola Negra hits theaters first in Spain starting in September / October coming up this fall, then Netflix will release it in the US in theaters in November briefly before its streaming debut at the end of the year. Threatened by an anonymous source who has kidnapped her son, Maia (Gal Gadot), a high-powered lawyer, must go on foot running around London to satisfy a client she represents to save her son. The film strips a prominent corporate attorney down to her rawest instincts as the maternal drive to save her son takes over this features a relentless pace and high-octane rescue mission. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Damian Lewis, Rory Wilmot, and Alfred Enoch. Reminds me of Die Hard with a Vengeance going around a city in a cat & mouse game. But with a few extra modern twists in it.
