Jon Hamm & Giovanni Ribisi in 'American Hostage' 70s Series Trailer

"This is more than just a hostage situation..." Amazon MGM Studios has revealed the full official trailer for a new series called American Hostage, ready for streaming on MGM+ starting this September. This is the exact same story told in the movie Dead Man's Wire, which played in theaters earlier this year (and it's very good). The series instead focuses the camera on radio host Fred Heckman, who was portrayed in Gus Van Sant's film by Colman Domingo (as "Fred Temple" instead in that version). It's a true story! This really did happen.
