John Turturro in 'The Only Living Pickpocket in New York' Film Trailer

Sony Pictures Classics has unveiled an official trailer for the film The Only Living Pickpocket in New York, an acclaimed new NYC love letter made by actor / filmmaker Noah Segan. This initially premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year to many rave reviews – it's one of the better films coming out of this year's fest. Led by John Turturro in one of his finest performances, the film follows Harry, an old school hustler / pickpocket. A classic native New Yorker, he moves through life lubricating palms with cash, relying on his wits & connections. But times are changing for Harry. His daily take isn't green bills & wristwatches, it's credit cards and cell phones. And one unfortunate night, cryptocurrency and a handgun – which gets him into big trouble. A nostalgic portrait of a small-time career criminal navigating today's digitally networked world. Featuring Turturro as Harry, with Giancarlo Esposito, Will Price, Tatiana Maslany, Victoria Moroles, Steve Buscemi, and Jamie Lee Curtis. I'm a big fan of this film!
