Buhoma Community Rest Camp

You are most welcome to Buhoma Community Rest Camp, which is located just before the entrance to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Buhoma Community Rest Camp BCRC provides outdoor enthusiasts with a taste of safari style and is an excellent base camp for gorilla tracking and observing the region's many endemic bird species.Since 1993, the Buhoma Community Rest Camp (BCRC) has been a community-based company developed and operated by citizens of the communities surrounding Mukono parish.

All revenue generated by visiting guests is transferred to the Buhoma Mukono Community Development Association (BMCDA) and distributed to local community projects such as Buhoma Community Primary School, Buhoma Community High School, Buhoma Gravity Water Flow Scheme, and the Pineapple and Vegetable Growing Project, to name a few.
