Busingiro Ecotourism Site (Budongo Forest)

Busingiro Eco Tourism Site is located on the Buliisa Road, 43 kilometers west of Masindi. Nyabyere Forest College is a 2-kilometer drive away, around 10 kilometers from Masindi. This place is accessible by road and takes around one hour to reach via private car or public transportation. Buses travel from Masindi to Butyaba/Wansoke, where you will disembark at the camp; however, a four-by-four safari car is worth renting from a reputable local tour operator for your safari.

Busingiro Eco Tourism Site also has two beautifully designed African bandas that provide comfort and seclusion to its guests, with a double and three single beds that can accommodate five people. Each of these bandas is set in a beautiful forest clearing, providing a relaxing place for you to recharge your mind while on a forest walk. Their campsite can sleep up to 20 visitors, and there is also a cooking area, a bonfire, and basic supplies for self-catering guests. The open washroom has hot and cold water showers, as well as two pit latrines for the campsite and bandas.
