Banda Island Camp

Banda Island is the pearl of the eighty-four islands of the Ssese Island Archipelago in the northwest of Lake Victoria, Uganda.

The resort covers 10 hectares of Banda Island (a total of 80 hectares). A little fishing town can be found on the island's opposite side.

Accommodation
Banda Island Resort and Campsite offers six distinct types of accommodations, two of which (the Cottage and the Herbert Cabin) have an en-suite toilet and shower. Except for the camping-pitch-your-own-tent option, we supply mattresses and linen. Please bring your own towels.

You can get to Banda in a variety of ways, depending on your level of adventure and the amount of cash in your wallet. The best deal is to board one of the local boats that depart from the Kasenyi landing place (click here for details). near Entebbe and the Sese Islands. The most luxurious way is to travel with one of the Nyanza Evergreen speed ferries or the MV Brovad and then take a customized hire to Banda.
