Official Trailer for Kinetic London Thriller 'The Runner' with Gal Gadot

Prime Video has revealed the first official trailer for an intense new thriller titled The Runner, arriving for streaming only on Prime Video in September coming up. Not to be confused with the other action movie coming up soon titled just Runner – these two are entirely different. From director Kevin Macdonald, The Runner is a pulse-pounding psychological thriller that plays out across London's bustling labyrinth of streets and underground tunnels. Threatened by an anonymous source who has kidnapped her son, Maia (Gal Gadot), a high-powered lawyer, must go on foot running around London to satisfy a client she represents to save her son. The film strips a prominent corporate attorney down to her rawest instincts as the maternal drive to save her son takes over – this features a relentless pace and high-octane rescue mission. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Damian Lewis, Rory Wilmot, and Alfred Enoch. Reminds me of Die Hard with a Vengeance going around a city in a cat & mouse game. But with a few extra modern twists in it.
