Mweya hostels and cottages, also known as the Mweya Institute of Ecology, are dormitory-style and low-cost accommodations located in Queen Elizabeth National Park in south-western Uganda.

The hostels are located near the posh Mweya safari lodge in the Mweya area of the park and offer self-contained rooms, non-self-contained single and double rooms with

Bathrooms and toilets are communal. Some of the Mweya hostels can hold 5-6 people.

This hotel is ideal for large groups of travelers because of its eco-friendly setting and panoramic views of the bustling Kazinga channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward.

The channel is relatively close to the hostels, making it ideal for visitors who want to take the Kazinga channel's famous lunch boat trips.

Mweya hostels provide a canteen where you may get anything you need, including hot and cold refreshments. The meals at Mweya hostel are simply amazing and beautifully prepared, and animals such as hippos and elephants are frequently seen or heard moving around near the hostels at night.
