Religious Horror 'Blood Shine' Trailer with Emily Bennett & David Call

"This vessel has come to us... Let there be light upon you always." Dark Sky Films has revealed the official trailer for an indie horror film titled Blood Shine, the second feature made by the genre filmmakers Emily Bennett & Justin Brooks. This first premiered at FrightFest London 2025 and will be out to watch on VOD coming up in August this summer. Blood Shine is described as a "striking blend of arthouse sensibility and visceral folk horror." Set in a desolate expanse of upstate New York, the chilling religious horror film centers on Clara, a religious zealot who worships light in lonely, sacred rituals. When problematic horror director Brighton West travels upstate to finish the screenplay for his next film, a chance encounter with Clara leads him into an hallucinatory web of faith, flesh, and the sublime.
