Official Trailer for Architecture Biopic Doc 'Schindler Space Architect'

Abramorama has revealed their official trailer for an intriguing archi-biopic documentary film called Schindler Space Architect, examining the life and work of singular Austrian architect R.M. Schindler. This originally premiered in 2024 and has been playing at film festivals ever since. Architect R.M. Schindler's life story (1887-1953) unfolds in parallel with that of Modern Architecture. The film follows his journey from Vienna through Chicago to Southern California, observing where possible through the lens of his own camera or listening to his own words. The story is told through narration, interviews, Schindler's theoretical writings, correspondence, photos, renderings, archival and new footage of many of his buildings. It even has Frank Gehry talking about how he was his great inspiration while at university. Schindler Space Architect also features narration by Meryl Streep, with Udo Kier as the voice of R.M.
