"Give me the code!" "I'm not going to give it to you the people you work for." Signature Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer for an indie genre thriller titled
Zip Wire, made by genre filmmaker Howard J. Ford (he also made
Bone Keeper earlier this year).
Zip Wire is premiering at FrightFest 2026 in London and then will hit VOD right after to watch at home. This looks like a fun complement to this year's
sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint, also about hanging on a wire off the side of a mountain. Although this movie has a much more sneaky script similar to
Cliffhanger – criminals want to steal some valuable lung cancer research from this woman and they strand her up in the mountains on an old zipline dangling 1500 ft. in the air. This is their plan to get the "code" to access it? Starring
MyAnna Buring (from
The Descent), with
Joseph Millson,
Saffron Burrows,
Silvia Presente, and
Michael Amariah. This looks a bit too ridiculous & cheesy to be any good, filled with all the usual that would never, ever really happen climbing failure tropes. Have fun. //
