"How are you opening for Green Day?" "Honestly, I don't know." Legion M & Inaugural Ent. have unveiled an official trailer for a rock band road trip movie called
Nimrods, made by director Lee Kirk. It premiered last year at TIFF under the original title
New Years Rev (
teaser here) but has been renamed
Nimrods for the final release in theaters
this August.
Nimrods is a coming-of-age story about three friends who journey to Los Angeles, mistakenly believing that their band is opening for Green Day at a show on New Year's Eve. Their roadtrip is a rowdy & mischievous jaunt across the country filled with many adventures, based on the exploits of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van. The full cast includes

Ryan Foust as the 3 friends, with
Ignacio Diaz- Silverio,
Keen Ruffalo,
Jenna Fischer,
Angela Kinsey,
Mckenna Grace,
