"Senior leadership knows, and is doing nothing." Sony Pictures has unveiled the first look teaser trailer for
The Social Reckoning, the highly anticipated follow-up to David Fincher's 2010 film
The Social Network about Facebook. This time, screenwriter
Aaron Sorkin returns but is also directing the movie in addition to writing it.
The Social Reckoning, a companion piece to
The Social Network, will debut in theaters starting
in October this fall. "Every revolution begins with a reckoning." This sequel follows the story of Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer, who enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz, a Wall Street Journal reporter, to blow the whistle on the social network's most guarded secrets. Starring
Mikey Madison,
Jeremy Allen White,
Wunmi Mosaku,
Betty Gilpin,
Billy Magnussen, with
Bill Burr, and
Jeremy Strong as the slimy Mark Zuckerberg trying to get out of being responsible for any of the problems Facebook has caused.
