Fabulous Trailer #2 for 'Forgotten Island' Filipino Best Friends Movie

"These are our memories!" "We are going home..." Universal has debuted a fabulous second trailer for the movie Forgotten Island, an animated adventure about two best friends. Opening in theaters starting in September in just a few months. From DreamWorks Animation comes a vibrant, emotional story about two lifelong best friends who must come together before they drift apart on "Forgotten Island". Early reviews are very effusive so far. The new original film is written and directed by Joel Crawford & Januel Mercado also behind Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and they've created something truly magical this time. Grammy and Academy Award winning supernova H.E.R. and Liza Soberano star as high school graduates Jo & Raissa, who have been best friends since grade school but are now about to embark down separate life paths. They discover a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastical island of Nakali, packed with magical creatures they heard stories about from their Filipino families. The voice cast also features Dave Franco, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng. This looks like tons of fun in a heartfelt story about friendship. Ever since CinemaCon (where they first showed the film to audiences) the buzz has been very good.
