Simba Safari Camp, known for its excellent hospitality, is nestled atop a hill overlooking Lake Kikorongo on the outskirts of Uganda's most popular Queen Elizabeth National Park (QE), with panoramic views of the park's extensive savannah plains teeming with wildlife, as well as Lakes George and the famed Kazinga Channel. It is the nearest lodging to QE's Kasenyi grasslands on the shores of Lake George, the legendary breeding grounds for Uganda Kobs, and consequently the most popular location for wildlife drives. It is also closest to the other regions of northern Queen Elizabeth National Park, such as the Mweya Peninsula and the Kazinga Channel, which are popular for launch cruises, close-range animal viewing, and bird watching. There's also the option to go for guided chimpanzees tracking in Kyambura Gorge.

In December 2008, Simba Safari Camp opened its doors in one of Uganda's most popular parks. The excellent and low-cost safari lodging is located on the boundary of Queen Elizabeth National Park, just two kilometers from the Equator.

More and more travelers are discovering this great safari camp, which offers cheap costs and a fantastic location. One side looks out over the magnificent crater lakes and plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, while on the other, the high peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains stand out against the horizon.

Simba Safari Camp features a total of 70 bedrooms, including family cottages, twin rooms, and dorms. The restaurant serves a range of food and drinks, and there is an attached bar and seating space. In addition, for conservation purposes, we encourage guests to plant a tree, which will grow and bear their name for eternity.
