Murchison Falls Boat Trips - Wild Frontiers

No vacation to Murchison is complete without a boat ride along the magnificent Nile River! Wild Frontiers offers a choice of boat tours that we can book on your behalf. Please review the available alternatives and contact us to reserve your spot.

Since the 1950s, the park's most popular feature has been a cruise upriver from our jetty at Paraa on the South Bank to witness Murchison Falls at the top of the Fajao Gorge. We run a scheduled trip every afternoon at 2.30pm, as well as in the mornings at 08.30am and 11.00am as needed.

Pickups and drop-offs by boat from Paraa's north bank and lodgings along the Nile's south bank can be arranged in advance. We also provide a unique waterfall Sun-downer tour with drinks and nibbles that departs every afternoon at 3.30pm (subject to minimum numbers) and private trips on an exclusive basis (see below). Guests should be at the agreed-upon departure spots at least 15 minutes before the departure time, as pick-up times may vary significantly based on the day's reservations.
