Eye Care Centre, the nation's Family Opticians, has been a pioneer in the optical sector in Uganda since 1996. The company's proprietors and managing directors, Hassan and Shahida Alibhai, opened its first location on Johnstone Street on November 8th, 1996.

Since its inception, it has provided consumers with the highest level in precision eye care solutions and products, delivered using cutting-edge technology and staffed by efficient and skilled professionals. Since its establishment, Eye Care Centre has strived to give its customers with high-quality products combined with the most stylish styles and trends in eyewear. As we grew, we understood the value of establishing our own lens manufacturing laboratory to provide fast and efficient services. We've started our own laboratory.

We established our own laboratory in 2006, outfitted with cutting-edge surfacing machines. Over the years, we have upgraded our laboratory with cutting-edge equipment. Over the last 21 years, the company has earned a remarkable reputation for the unwavering service it gives at all of its six showrooms in Kampala and Entebbe.
