Nyinabulitwa Country Resort & Safari Camp offers a conservation area ideal for eco-conscious travelers interested in birds and primates.

The resort is located roughly 20 kilometers outside Fort Portal in western Uganda. It borders Kibale Forest National Park, one of the country's most beautiful tropical woods, home to stunning bird and insect life as well as 13 kinds of primates, including a unique population of around 1400 chimps.

The forest also has forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, duikers, and a wide range of reptiles.

The resort is an excellent location for safaris to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorilla, Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, with 500 bird species, the Rwenzori Mountains, and Semliki National Park.

Although the temperature is tropical, the location has clear and dry air due to its relatively high altitude and is nearly mosquito-free. A mean annual rainfall of more than 1200 mm, mixed with fertile volcanic soils, results in lush green flora all year.
