Leopard Village is a community-driven socioeconomic development initiative that promotes cultural and wildlife conservation through ecotourism. The initiative's purpose is to help conserve the area's wildlife while also assisting locals in regaining traditional custodianship of the local wildlife and other natural resources. Villagers profit economically, which helps offset the costs of living with carnivores, which occasionally attack on livestock, as well as elephants, which can ruin crops. It also helps to educate visitors about Uganda's conservation challenges and rich cultural heritage.

Located near the village of Muhokya, it sits on 3 acres bordering the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Visitors can tour replicas of traditional huts, watch traditional performances, purchase handicrafts, engage in conversations with villagers about their experiences living next to the park, visit local schools, and have discussions with carnivore researchers.
