Kampala Music School

KMS exists to provide optimum opportunities for developing musical skill and enjoyment of the art of music in Uganda.

KMS believes that anyone who want to enhance their musical aptitude and appreciation for music should be able to do so in a culturally relevant and cost-effective manner.

The school's values are thus as follows:

Talent development. The school shall prioritize talent over ability to pay and, subject to funds being available, shall teach motivated and talented musicians even if they cannot afford lesson fees.
Transparency and accountability. KMS believes that its activities should be transparent and accountable, upholding applicable professional ethics, open communication, and integrity.
Respect for everyone.

This is considered vital, and activities should be presented in a gender sensitive, culturally and resource-appropriate manner.
Excellence. KMS is dedicated to the pursuit of quality and the delivery of services in a collaborative manner, guaranteeing a 'family atmosphere' in which everyone feel welcome regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or culture.
