In Masaka, southwest Uganda, Elite Backpackers Services (EBS) is a reputable eco-friendly lodging option that is affordable. Since our formal opening in 2015, we have enjoyed serving both foreign volunteers and tourists.

Our unique eco-conceptual layout, first-rate services, and amiable staff are what distinguish us from other establishments in the region.

We are well situated for travelers wishing to take a journey break when traveling to or from Queen Elizabeth, Lake Bunyonyi, or Lake Mburo National Park, as we are sandwiched between Kampala and Mbarara.

EBS is in a good location for travelers going to or from Kalangala-Ssese Island or those visiting Bigo Byamugenye Archaeological Cultural Place in Ntuusi.

We are also at a prime location for foreign volunteers spending time at one of the numerous non-governmental organizations in and around Masaka Town.

You may take a leisurely stroll through the shops or market to get supplies, but you're still far enough away to avoid the congestion of Masaka's main town, which is just 1.5km distant.

The greatest place for you all to stay is at EBS. There's no better spot to unwind with a drink and some conversation with friends than our prime location atop the renowned Bwala Hill, which offers breathtaking views of the dawn and sunset.

We provide lodging, dining options, a bar, meeting spaces for small parties, tours, safaris, and volunteer opportunities. There is free WiFi accessible.
