Okapi Tours & Travel Company is a successful and recognized safari and tour company run by Emmanuel Munganga Rufubya and Kakesa Bosco. It employs a staff of expert tour guides throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, and Kenya.
Bosco is a successful businessman in East Africa; he was born in Goma, DR Congo, and was interested in tourism from a young age. He pursued this job in Kenya Utalii College in Nairobi, Kenya.
Emmnauel and Bosco are African Great Lakes residents who were born in Dr Congo, Goma. Since 2007, an increasing number of adventure visitors have arrived in Goma, wanting to discover the animals, particularly the spectacular surroundings surrounding Nyiragongo Volcanic Mountain and the very impressive Virunga National Park.
As their reputation grew among tourists and journalists looking for their company, Emmanuel and Bosco formed an association that brought together local tour guides, fixers, and a variety of service providers, eventually establishing the first tour company to operate in DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
