One Minute South

One Minute South is situated on the western shore of Bulago Island, at 0°01'S of the Equator. Bulago Island is located in the heart of Lake Victoria's freshwater marine reserve, which was established by Parliament in 2007 and covers an area of 200 square kilometers. The Lacustrine Protected Area (LPA) will work to rebuild severely depleted fish stocks and reintroduce sport fishing tourists in Lake Victoria.

Superimposed over the fish reserve, we propose restoring natural wilderness by establishing a Nature Reserve in collaboration with the necessary government ministries to mitigate and subsequently reverse the negative consequences of deforestation, lake pollution, and illicit fishing methods. Catering & Events

One Minute South is the ideal place for hosting events of various sizes, such as birthdays, marriages, and anniversaries, or for a weekend of partying. We have a full complement of employees with strong hospitality and catering backgrounds. The space is also becoming increasingly popular for a variety of retreats, including writing, yoga, and company team-building excursions.
