Mamaland Safaris offers private safaris in a 4x4 vehicle with a dedicated safari guide. All of our cars feature a pop-up canopy for game watching on the Savannah. Your tour guide will handle all practical parts of the safari so you can rest and enjoy your trip to Uganda.

We enjoy taking our visitors on a journey through Uganda. This means that you will not only be carried from activity to activity, but you will also leave feeling as if you have genuinely experienced Uganda. When time allows, we encourage stops in villages, picturesque areas, and marketplaces along the journey, as well as sampling local cuisine.

You decide the tempo of your Uganda safari during the planning stage. Our Uganda tours can be customized to your preferred pace. We arrange for free afternoons and leisurely mornings. If you want to see as much as possible while you're here, we'll speed up the safari.

When you think of an African safari, you may envision dusty roads and harsh conditions. But the fact is that Uganda's infrastructure has improved significantly in recent years. The majority of longer drives are on comfortable roads that allow for easy travel over lengthy distances.

Mamaland Safaris is a local tour operator founded in 2005 following shorter trips around Kampala's tourism highlights in the 1990s. Since then, due to rising demand from our adventurous travelers, we have expanded our tours outside of Kampala, particularly to Uganda's National Parks with game viewing and gorilla trekking, as well as combo safaris that include our East African neighbors. We provide both affordable and luxury Uganda safaris.
