SCHOOL LOCATION

Galaxy International School Uganda (GISU) is a coeducational school located in Lubowa, 9 kilometers from Kampala on the Kampala-Entebbe Road. Turn off before Roofings Ltd. and continue along the main road past the housing complex, about 500 metres from Quality Supermarket; the school is on the left.

OUR SCHOOL

The school provides international education to pupils aged 2.5 to 19. From kindergarten to year 13, children are taught utilizing student-centered methodologies. The emphasis is on the development of the entire person. Students in Years 10 and 11 prepare for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams, while those in Years 12 and 13 prepare for the Cambridge International AS and A Level exams. These examinations are administered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

MANAGEMENT

The school is privately owned and has a Board of Governors. The principal is in charge of the day-to-day operations. The school is manned by competent and experienced teachers from the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, Turkey, and East Africa.
