With its proximity to the national park, a leisurely trip to At The River rapidly transforms into a game drive, allowing you to observe elephant, lion, hyena, antelope, buffalo, and birds. Ishasha's famous tree-climbing lions observe from the branches, surrounded by lush greenery and spectacular vistas of the Rwenzori and Virunga mountain ranges in the distance.

At The River is doing its part to protect the environment by becoming a completely sustainable eco-property. Please keep in mind that our water tanks and refrigerators are powered by hot coals and solar panels, and all meals are prepared fresh everyday with seasonal foods grown on our farm or obtained from a nearby market.
